Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units were developed to assist in the securing of nuts in situations using a nut and bolt system, stud system or stud and bolt system. Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units are installed over two adjacent nuts/bolts, creating resistance between the nuts/bolts to minimize their ability to rotate and prevent them from loosening.
Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units reduce the risk of nut loss or bolt loosening, vibration
damage to other turbine parts and more catastrophic outcomes like wing loss.

Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ is produced in an ISO-9001-2008 certified facility. Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units are formulated from design-engineered plastic. The formulation was developed to withstand extreme changes in temperature and to address high temperature environments. The Zafety Lug LockTurbine™ formulation is designed to withstand continuous operating temperatures from -40 degrees Centigrade (-40°F) to +160 degrees Centigrade (+320°F).
Manufacturer’s Warranty and Life Expectancy
Interior installation – 5-years
For Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units installed on interior nuts or bolts of the wind turbines, the warranty for manufacturing defects is five (5) years. Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ is guaranteed for 5-years under the warranty for manufacturing defects but the life span in a protected indoor environment is expected to be ten (10) years or more.
Exterior installation – 2-years
For Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ units installed on exterior nuts or bolts of the wind turbines, the warranty for manufacturing defects is two (2) years. Zafety Lug Lock Turbine™ is guaranteed for 2-years under the warranty for manufacturing defects but the life span in an outdoor exposed environment is expected to be five (5) years or more.
